I finished this book on the night I got it. It was so nice because it showed how just one girl had to deal with moving to a new bigger house in a new bigger place and also playing on a girls only team, which is all muslims. I recommend this book for girls around my age which is 11 till like 12 and I can’t stop reading this book over and over..
It is very engaging and keeps the kid interested. It makes memorization easier and we all have been loving it.
I received one of the millions of kites. I received it as a blessing. My heart is broken for the children and for everyone in Gaza, for the Palestinian people.
I consider myself a witness when I see the videos and images of Gaza, so that humanity does not forget, at least on my part.
I am a child psychiatrist in Brazil. I received this kite with the voices of the children of Gaza as the voices of all the children in this world. I will keep it with all my affection and with my desire that they be free to live the lives to which they have every right.
Thank you very much for this gift, this book, this kite
This book was amazing. I highly highly recommend it! 3rd graders and up would enjoy this. This story is a nice clean read!
I bought this a long time ago. It’s rough around the edges now. Every time I read it to my kids, I can’t help but cry. The ending is such a tear jerker. The book is an amazing way to introduce kids to the concept of the Day of Judgment and the after life. The illustrations are mesmerizingly beautiful. It also makes you (as an adult) think so much more deeply about the Prophet’s (s) cistern and what it will be like when we meet him (s) there inshaAllah.
Grounded was such an engaging read—I couldn’t put it down! I loved how the story brought together different voices and backgrounds so naturally. The diversity of the characters felt real and refreshing, and each one added something special to the story.
The writing was smooth and heartfelt, with just the right mix of humor and emotion. I really appreciated the themes of friendship, identity, and understanding across cultures. It’s a great read for anyone who enjoys character-driven stories with depth and heart.
Highly recommend!
This book gives enough of an introduction to pique kids interest and have them do further research about the sahaba in the stories and learn more about the Seera, Islamic history and other related Sahaba.
Lovely how it highlights a shero for all and the importance of education. Beautiful evocative illustrations
My daughter really loved the colors! But you can add more information with those pictures. Jazakillah Khairan
We really enjoyed reading this with my children. The story itself was really pleasant and the illustrations were so realistic. Thank you.
I bought this on behalf of my daughter’s almost 9 year old friend who loves this series and has already asked when part 4 will be available. (They are currently raising funds to publish it in 2026 inshallah, in case you are wondering as well.)
My son loves this audio Quran book and enjoys listening to it and has been a great tool for hifdth. Also makes an excellent gift which is sadaqah jariyah for you. Absolutely recommend.
My book was packed with care and I got 2 bright yellow bracelets with it! I'm so happy to have shopped with crescent book.
It's very hard to find Islamic books for kids that are both easy to understand and engaging with great artwork. I love how kid-friendly this book is -- I don't have to do any mental gymnastics or pre-planning as to how I will present certain stories in an age appropriate way for my young child. We especially love the interactive questions after each story. Highly recommend for personal use, classrooms, and masjid libraries!
Alhamdulillah my 5 year old loves this book so much we have read it and have been rereading it every night before bed. The dynamic typography and the pictures are so exciting for him. He really enjoys it. May Allah give abundant barakah and ajr to everyone involved in every step of making and getting the book to us
MashAllah an excellent book, motivating and inspiring for our youngsters! My 12 year old have been asking me if they have more books like these.
