Prophet Muhammad and the Crying Camel Activity Book

This small activity book by Kube Publishing honestly blew me away!⠀ ⠀ First, I love how this book focuses on one hadith of the Prophet (pbuh), and shows his beautiful character with one story. Telling one story at a time helps children fully understand and comprehend it, and ensures they are not being overwhelmed with too much information. ⠀ ⠀ The activity book tells the story of how the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) saw a camel crying because of how it was mistreated, overworked, and underfed by it’s owner. The camel actually complained to the Prophet (pbuh) about the bad treatment by speaking in a way only the Prophet (pbuh) understood, which is a miracle in itself! It made me so emotional to realize how caring our amazing Messenger was and how he used to take the time to hear even the complaints of animals!!⠀ ⠀ The book highlights how important it is to treat animals nicely as Muslims following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (pbuh), and it uses activities to engage the child with the story. Each page had a small activity, with mazes, crosswords, tracing, and more.⠀ ⠀ I really liked the emphasis on learning letters, and the repeated activities in the book helped my learning reader with her letter recognition!⠀ ⠀ My 5 year old daughter was easily able to complete these activities with minor help, and my 8 year old would have been able to do them all himself with no help! This is perfect for keeping the kids busy and learning Islamic knowledge.⠀ ⠀ Also, at the end, the actual hadith was written, which was amazing for me to read to them and reflect on as a parent.⠀ ⠀ ....and this book is one of many, as this is a whole series on the Prophets (AS) and animals they interacted with. I can’t wait to get the rest!!
