A kaleidoscope is like a spinning telescope where you can see reflective shapes through the viewing hole.
This is a super fun DIY activity, great for welcoming the month of Ramadhan. It is also a brilliant way to celebrate and discuss the role of Muslim scholars of the past, who made incredible advancements in the fields of astronomy and optometry.
This kit includes tubes cut to size, reflective prism sheets, stickers, small gems and finishing parts needed for a Kaleidoscope. Easy to follow instructions in this YouTube video.
Our kit comes complete with an information card explaining the importance of Astronomy in Islam, shedding light on some of the great discoveries made by Muslims in the past. This card also doubles up as wall art, as the flip side is a beautiful A5 print reading: "Oh what a wonderful world, Alhamdulillah"
Badge is not included this year. Not suitable for very young children due to small parts.
